Ok, I am recentering myself. Here we are in november and there is not alot of time left before I am 50. Even tough I failed all those other days of the year: 304 to be exact, I still have 61 to do better.
This morning I went for my walk, 53 minutes, I did the first day of P90 and I went to the pool for 40 laps. I am really tired but I will move like this every day. It is the only way I can see the scale move down. I am counting my calories. And I will succeed.
I am tired, always out of breath, unable to bend down without hurting my knee. I look like I am 75 year old. Hell I saw 75 year old that are in better shape then I am.
I see my mom, 73, who is getting worst by the day. I do not want to be like her. Ever. I want to enjoy life.
I am an overeater and just like an alcoholic I have to recognize my addiction. And just like an alcoholic I have to take it a day at a time. I know that for the first few days I will have to take it a minute at a time.
Thankfully, all the exercises I did this morning occupied my mind so I didn't think of eating.
There is lots and lots of candy in the house because of Halloween and lots and lots of dessert because of the murder mystery friday night. But I am more a salty person so I will be careful to not have chips, bread and butter surrounding me.
I am commiting to be here every day and to be accountable for my choices.
P90 is a program that last 90 days. I figure that it isn't that long when you think that there is already 304 days that passed without me doing anything else then maintening my weight.
Here we go, God help me.

39 humidex
Poor Cats. It was 39 degrees with the humidex. They were just sprawled on the deck looking completely dead.

The red one is Bob, our cat. And the little tabby one is our best guest at the De Angelis cat cafe. He looks so sad beacause he seems to have had some kind of accident that change his eyes.
And here is Kaly, it is her favorite position to rest ( on my lovey's tummy, with her face resting in his sweater).

RIP mini Bob
It took me that long to write about it, but my beautiful mini-Bob is dead. He drowned in the pool 3 months ago. I am so sad. Not a day goes by that I don't think about him. Poor baby. My lovey was the one who took him out. Thank God for that. He still has vision of him, it was not a pretty sight.
On a happier note :While my daughter is on all of her trips we are taking care of her cats. And this is Kaly.

She is on top of the cupboard in the kitchen. She climbs on the fridge and then on to the cupboard. She must feel safe or something.
And here are the two fat cats: Bob and Rufus sleeping behind the coach :)

Mini Bob keeps escaping
Another morning trying to run after Mini Bob.
I had looked into a catfence and that seems to be working great according to testimonies. But he always escapes from the front door. I had every intention of installing the catfence in the new house. Hopefully, he associates outside with the backyard and doesn't go trough the front door.

electrical storm
Mini Bob is going wild. I know he is a teenager but the running all over the place is very noisy.
I am pretty sure we are going to have an electrical storm.
The race starts on the kitchen floor, there is a jump trough the railing of the dining room with a landing on the sofa. From there, there is a jump onto the loveseat and then to the reclyning chair. Down to the stairs in the entrance where the course continues to the window seal. A quick look outside and then it starts all over again. If by any chance, one of the other cats is in the way, he gets a jump on. My poor Rufus is going to have a heart attack from all this activity around him. He is 7 but even when he was a kitten, he never was that excited. I think it was in his nature to be a calm cat. He is wise.
Anyway, Mini Bob will be going to chop chop the balls next week, hopefully that calms him down. Maybe he will go from Nascar racer to bird watching. :)

Senior Bob brought back a little rabbit this morning. I hate it when he does that. He is always bringing back little gifts, but usually they are birds or mice. This is his biggest kill yet. Very difficult on my vegetarian heart. I know it is the nature of the cat. But he since they are gift he doesn't eat them. It is just a kill.
